Maddy...this is a super fun painting (I think) in the style of Jen Stark. Your wonderful creation got me curious about Jen the artist. So I googled andreally enjoyed the site. And besides, she looks a lot like your mom.

What an attractive coffee shop. I'll bet that they serve excellent coffee and also have delicious pastries to go along. It's been hot enough that I would like iced coffee with some sugar and some cream. It was probably some spilled cream that attracted the cat in the window. Good job!!!

Oh Maddy, I really like your sea turtle picture. Not only are turtles cool, but it's my indigenous American totem. Slow and steady.When I was your age I went with my sister Diane to Woodlands lake near our home and waded out to Turtle Island to get a pet for a few weeks. Some young Painted Turtles were smaller than a silver dollar. They liked eating banana, lettuce and ground beef. Wonderful job.

This piece of yours is a wonderful study in geometric shapes. What shape is your favorite?? Maybe triangles?? You did triangles twice and you used your favorite colors on the purple one. I love it!!
