Hi Fatemah! Is this one of the critters from your Lebanon Reservoir neighborhood? He/she could be from Sunriver, too! Love you, Aunt Gina

That eye has a story to tell! I love the mix of colors and the way the highlight in the eye brings it to life. It reminds me of a piece that Matt did in high school of a tiger's eye. So many artists in the family! ??

Hi Fatemah! I enjoyed viewing your artwork so far this year, both your designed elephant and your Tints and Shades Landscape Painting. The elephant designs looked like they'd be fun to color in on a rainy day. It reminded me of elephants that I saw in Sri Lanka that were decorated for a hold day precession. The variety in your program is interesting. Hope you are enjoying this great opportunity to create! Love, Aunt Gina

Oh, Fatemah, your Animal Eye made me think of the owls at the Sunriver Nature Center right away. I suppose it could be any number of animals because your delicate line strokes make me think of feathers or hair. Including a white spot on the iris makes it look like the animal is looking towards the light and adds life to the image. See you soon! Love, Aunt Gina

Hi Fatemah! it looks like you're learning about perspective as well as frame within a frame painting. The mountains in the background remind me of the Cascade mountains where I was hiking yesterday! Love, Aunt Gina

Very nice work sweetheart! I did a painting in grade school very similar to yours - I think the assignment was to show perspective in a painting. Hope your school year is going well - I 'll see you over the holidays in December...miss you! Send Harry my love.

Hi Fatemah, It looks like your sculpture could be named "Creature from the Foil Lagoon". Ask your Dad or Uncle Pete about the "Creature from the Black Lagoon" movie we used to watch when we were kids on Saturday afternoons on a show called "Monster Movie Matinee". We lved it! Love, Aunt Gina
