Simon, I agree that the way you used different techniques made it look like much more than just a quarter of a circle. I think all the curved lines and squiggles also trick your eyes so that you don't notice the quarter circle, Good work on applying an interesting technique.

Simon, I agree that the bubble is the most interesting part of this piece. I also like how the metal pattern is similar to the drawn part. It is an interesting technique. The pattern reminds me of wood grain. Good job..

Simon, Although you mention paint, markers, and printing, it looks like a collage to me. Some of the shapes look cutout and glued on. It has a fun feel to it and looks like you enjoyed making it. Keep up the good work.

I like the realistic shape you gave to your leaves and the artistic colors. It makes the picture interesting. I can recognize the oak and maple leaves. I also like the way you had the leaves overlap, which is what you see in nature. I also like the big green broken leaf, What a wonderful fall picture!

Simon, I like the contrast between the feathery black area on the bottom and the smooth circular red area. It also add interest by not having the pink go all the way around. The rough edge on the gold area also gives your abstract work interest. Keep up the good work, you are learning about many styles of art.

Simon, I like the pine trees against the sky at sunset. In winter, especially late winter, the sunsets are so beautiful just like the one you made. I also like the footprints going over the hill, it make the picture look like it is way out in the country and someone is trying to get home by dark.
