What great use of color and different mediums! Did you enjoy using one more than the other?

I love the pretty colors you chose, Claire. How did you get the circles so perfectly round?

You are demonstrating more hand control with each picture, Claire. You included the beaks, eyes and feet. The dark blue background is a nice contrast with your little yellow birds.

Oh. look at the octopus! I'm glad he's smiling. If he was mad, he might squirt his black ink at us. Did you figure out the picture would make an octopus before you finished connecting all of the numbers?

The snow that you've painted in your picture might be all of the snow you see this winter since this area doesn't get much snow. I'm glad you can imagine the snow by painting a picture of it.

Hi, Claire, We really like all of the detail you put in the sunflower, especially the center of the flower. And the sky has lots of clouds. Was is hard work putting in so much detail?

Wow, Claire! That's a great looking sunflower. Did you also paint the blue and white clouds or was the paper already like that? I hope you are enjoying your art classes. Love, Grandma Stephanie
