Dear Lauren, What is the name of this piece? I just found and saw that I had not commented on it yet. Is he or she made of tinfoil? Is this individual trying to tell me something the way his hands are raised and … the way he or she is standing makes me think he might be running. I am so intrigued. Please let me know! Love, Uncle Bob

Dear Lauren, I saw your "Palace Picture" and it made me miss you so much. The palace reminds me of when you and I went to see the new "Aladdin" at the theater in Holland last summer! That was fun. It also reminded me of when you and me and Uncle Chad went to Disney World last year at this time! That was so fun. Remember the palaces we went to there? Such fun. I miss you terribly and cannot wait until we are able to spend time together. Love, Uncle Bob

Lauren, I love you newest painting "Birch Trees and Woodland Animals". You did a great job on the trees- the detail of black on the white birch is great! I love the colors (blues, pinks, and purples) in the background. I also like the fox in the foreground. He looks kind of tricky like he is up to something though. My sweet niece you did a great job on your painting. I hope I get to see it in person! I love you and I am proud of you. Love, Uncle Bob

Dear Lauren Love, I LOVE your heart painting. It is so swell! I like how you outlined it in black and then had three different colors to get down to the center which is a bright yellow. What a lovely and pretty idea. The transition from pink to red to orange to yellow is just really cool. What a great idea. Did you come up with it on your own? The contrast with the blue, the purple and the little bit of green on the outside it really helps to make the heart stand out. I love seeing your work and I am so proud of you. Love uncle Bob

Laruen, I love your Easter basket painting! You know my favorite part? The basket! You did a great job of the showing the texture - how the handle and basket are rough and uneven and not smooth because the materials are woven. You show that so well with the different colors and shades and markings. It is so impressive. The egg, grass and sky are all pretty too and I cannot wait to hang out with you in Cabo! Love, Uncle Bob
