Alex...what a cool picture! It's hard to distinguish the texture of the hair from the picture, but it certainly looks dimensional, and it appears to be about the length your hair actually is. We did like the technique that you used around your eye. It looks very expressive. We thought you did a very good job! Doing a self portrait is a tough project and you did it very well! Alex, You did a great job of creating a very accurate image of a train engine. I know how hard it is to work with clay. To use the various colors for contrast was also difficult, I imagine. Good work. Love, Grandma B.

Alex, This looks as if it was a very difficult project but your finished product is excellent. It reminds me of the Gargoles that are around the top of the building at Quincy Junior High School where I taught. Many people do not notice them but they are beautiful and yours would fit right in with those already there. Great job.
