Brayden employs a sophisticated juxtoposition of artistic elements in his work. In this piece he treats the road and foreground with a DaVinciesque sfumato technique that is rare among younger artists, and handles the background with a greater and starker contrast. He modestly shows a mastery of perspective as his trees recede in space, his road hauntingly disappears, and his sky dissolves into the faint bands of the spectrum.
