Hi Alaina, I know how much your sister loves you and you love her. Nice art work.

Alaina, this is a VERY powerful piece. I love it and it moves me. I am very impressed by the details. I see your profile in the top corner of the inner triangle of the Mogen David. I see the letter A (for you of course) in the outer triangle of the A. The blue background looks like a heart. The colors are a mix of dark and light - to me representing our history as Jews. WONDERFUL JOB.

Alaina, I loved this colorful rainbow of weaving. I especially like how the color rows are different widths. The green row looks like and arrow and catches your attention. The teal is a lovely shade, my favorite. The pink is so cheerful. I'm glad you got to experience weaving. It is a trade skill from the past that is coming back.

Alaina, this is very cool! I love the dreidels in all different shades of color and the bright blue mogen David in the middle. Is the outer part a hamentashen? Perfect design and very fun. Great job.

Hi Alaina - I love these arm trees - did other kids in your class make some? You could make an "arm forest" together. How did it feel to have all that wrapping on your arms? Sort of like a cast maybe? I've never had a cast. Have you? I hope I never do!!! I hope you never do!!! I read that the Mayor of Chicago, who graduated from University of Michigan, like your parents and I did, won't be the mayor again. Whenever I read about Chicago I think about you. Thanks for sharing your artwork with us. This one is very cool. Love you, Aunt Sue

Alaina, I LOVE your name artwork. It is so cheerful and connected to nature. Each letter is a different theme. The A looks like it is walking, the L looks like a musical note, the next A looks like it has a banana on it and my favorite is the next I that looks like a flower pot with such a happy flower dotting the "i". SO CUTE and cheerful. I bet you could see these. Great job. Love you.

Hi Alaina, you did such a lovely piece capturing the essence of Lila's Bat Mitzvah. We were sad we couldn't come but your drawing helps me see and understand how special it was. Thank you for this lovely lovely work. Well done!!!

Alaina, your art is perfect for Halloween! I LOVE the stary nighy, how beautiful, and the trees without leaves are perfect for October. The pumpkins look 3-D! Wonderful job. I'm so impressed, love you, Aunt Sue

Alaina, I LOVE your solar storm made from gems. The gems are so unique, each one different from the other and all are excellent 3-D renderings. I especially like the ones that go around the page like a decorative border. I must say thought, my favorite part, is that YOU said you like your work. You should! It is excellent and it is an important part of becoming an adult to say that you like your own creations. Great job and thanks for sharing it with me. It brought joy to my day. Love you, Aunt Sue

Alaina, what a lovely tribute to your sister!!! Did she make one with your name? I love how the bright blue letters are on top of the cloud with the sun rays behind the cloud and then the polka dots behind that. What a wonderful job you did. Thanks for sharing this cheerful sign.

Alaina, I LOVE this alien. She/He/IT? Doesn't look that scary, especially because of the crown on their head. I want to know more about them and what they can teach us. I love the portal - all the colors in it makes the portal look like a rainbow. I wonder if you or I will ever meet an alien in real life? I would like to meet one, especially if they are like ET and if they look like your alien here. Does it have a name? Thanks for sharing this. Great work.

Hi Alaina - Are you adding some middle names to your name? Now Uncle Mark and I shall call you Amazing Alaina Jackson Pollock !!! wowie, this is fantastic and I think Campbells should hire you to design their cans. This is much prettier than the old red and white versions they use. I love your color choices but not as much as I love YOU.

Alaina, these are beautiful flowers. I love how bright and cheerful the pink one is. And the yellow one is almost translucent. Together they make the picture really enticing. It is so much fun to see your art. Thanks for posting this. Love you, Aunt Sue

Alaina, this is so wonderful. I love seeing what your room looks like. I hope I will get to visit you this fall and can see it in person. Is the Pennant for University of Michigan? Is there a beanbag chair in the corner. I LOVE the sense of depth and perspective you drew. It really looks 3-D! Amazing job. Thanks for sharing. Love you, Aunt Sue

Alaina - what an amazing job you did describing your sister. The picture looks so much like her! And you captured her "sassy" spirit in her expression and managed to picture all of her favorite things. At first I thought you included a soccer ball and I didn't realize she played soccer and then I saw it is the head of the microphone! Now that is so perfect. What a fantastic job. I hope you will do a self-portrait next and draw yourself and all of your favorite things. Wonderful work.

Wow Alania, this is amazing and it really does look like your mom. Her blue and green top looks like a work by Chagall. I love you and I love your mom too. What a special tribute to her. Love you.

Alaina !! I am so proud of what you wrote! Yes, I learned from your art that you know now that a small person can be an extremely multi-talented Jew! I knew that about you already, because you are!!! You are extremely multi-talented and smart and athletic and caring and artistic. I love you frame and your picture. Great work!

Alaina, I look at your artwork every time you post, this one moved me to tears. It is NOT A BLOB but a very meaningful understanding of a difficult time for our family. You capture the hard time and the hope of a better future so well. I am so touched and moved by this. Great job and thank you.
