I really enjoy this composition. The coils of the snake begin outside the box, then my eyes continue wrapping around the tree via the vines, then back to the beginning via the contour of the ground. It's a wild ride!

I like the use of color in this piece! The use of purple and pink/orange set off the yellow in Boo!!

Maggie, I love this picture!! The snake's head just "pops" out of the picture!! I like the shading, too! It makes me wonder what the snake is looking at beside the tree and I'm glad it's not ME! Thanks for sharing!!

I admire the bold color choices. My eye had a lot of fun jumping from one object to another and back again. The conscious choice to attribute texture to the negative space surrounging the cetral object was a bold move. I think it paid off as it helps balance out the busy nature of the other objects in tbe vomposition. When you get older, someone may tell you not to have a black hole in the middle of your work. Don't listen. I think the tension in this poece between the black ess and the bright objects draws me in - almost as though my person is in danger of being sucked intk the piece never to return!

I admire the time and care that went into this piece. The lines are painstakingly drawn and the colors repeat the shape of the objects flawlessly. I am digging the groovy 60's vibe these common objects are emitting. I feel like putting on my blacklight and focussing on this rhythmic design for a long, long time.

This piece is really dark. I love the contrasting color choices: warm and cool, bright and dark. I find the whole effect exciting and a little disconcerting. Is this a mystical symbol or artifact? Is it imbued with powers to repel or attract evil? Regardless, I am drawn to it and I want to know more.

What a fun project! I like the drawing - especially face and hair. It really fits the medium, too. Bold colors! Very successful piece.
