Hi Erin, I think you have done a great job of combining bubble style and decorative style lettering. I also think the placement of the letters in relation to one another add a graffiti look to your work. The decorative design in your work reminds me of nature...clouds, mountains, rivers, and the rays of the sun. Love it!

Hi Erin, You did a great job with your decorated letters. I like the variety of designs within the letters, as well as the variation in shading.

Hey Erin, I like the idea of this project and the work that you did. I agree with you when you say you "would make a more fun background and different color choices'. i know you are far more creative than this.

Hi Erin, Your poster celebrates "Peace from all places" by including the hands representing the diversity of people in the world. As I see it, they are in the darkness of uncertainty reaching for peace and enlightenment. The white dove holding the olive branch symbolizes the hope for peace in the world. I especially like your quote from Jimi Hendrick. Great job.

Hi Erin, I like that you chose a skull with antlers. I think that makes the project more interesting. Your realistic skull drawing is very nice; but I love that you decided to use a variety of colors in your final drawing. Very creative and fun!

Hi Erin, I like the still life you created for the "Visual representation of chess pieces" project. Your drawing does look like the picture; and I can see that you used your value scale. I do agree with your comments that your white pieces could have been lighter. I also think the darker pieces could have had more highlights. I hope you are enjoying your art class. I think you are very creative and talented. Keep on drawing and painting.

Hi Erin, I'm happy to see you are working with "7 values", the darkness or lightness of a color. Whether you are drawing or painting, value is one of the most important elements of art. I like the way you used the 7 values to highlight and shade the forms you drew.

Hi Erin, I was excited to see your artwork in the style of Louise Nevelson. I love the variety of shapes and textures, as well as the composition. It looks great no matter how you rotate it. I'm looking forward to other art projects you will create.
