I really like this picture. It captures the kind of light spirit of the California lifestyle where many homes have swimming pools. Very expressive! Nice work!

This looks almost authentic. You did a wonderful job making the papyrus and your illustrations look just like what I've seen in the National Geographic Magazine and on TV programs about ancient civilizations. Well done!

This is so totally cool Serina! I like how you spaced the figures you imprinted on the tablet you made. And you did a very good job of making it look very old. A very nice work...great eye for detail.

I like this piece when I first saw you working on it. Black and red...can't get more basic than that. But the shape of the symbols you use are emphasized by the bright red color and even more so with the black color surrounding each symbol. It reminds me of a cube that generates power (like maybe electricity) from inside itself. I find myself looking for an "on" button. Hope it doesn't make a lot of noise when I turn it on. :)

This is a cute doll. Dark hair with a bright red color dress just shouts out "Look at me!" The simplicity of the face with a smile that stands out really does...stand out. This makes me think of the word "happy!" Very cute!

This is great Serina! Looking at this illustration makes me immediately think of the Grecian urns/pottery from ancient times. I like how the dark color starts at the top, runs down the center of the neck and frames the outside edges. That dark color works well to highlight the lighter colors that you use in the center so my eyes are drawn to that first. This picture makes me want to get my shovel and join and archaeological expedition and look for real vases just like this one!

The background makes the fright on her face even more realistic. I like it a lot

Her face represents her "scream" very well.

Her face very much expresses her scared look. Love it

The way the eyebrows are drawn really express the fright on her face. Good job!

I really like the framing of your subject...dark surrounding, like a cave. The highlighted face brings out the expression of surprise or fright on her face. I almost want to turn around and see if she's looking at something behind me! Good job!
