Mary, I love your tall city in the mountains with cactus. Could this be Fort Davis? I love your orange mountains. Did you know that the mountains at Fort Davis change colors during the day? I love the colors you chose for the tall building and you drew them with outstanding proportion. Please keep up the good work. I can't wait to see your next piece. Lvu Mimi -- Judy

Good job, Mary, but I'm curious about what you were thinking about when you did this. -- Gary

Mary I think your picture is very beautiful and expresses the sweet, smart person that you are. I love the happy girl and how you drew her hair. I also see that you used a compass to draw your circles, perfect. I love all the designs you chose to use and especially the hearts. Keep up the great imagination and creativity. Love you, Mimi -- Judy

This wonderful piece of art mirrors Mary's ability to take an idea and personalize it with her own unique style and her amazing creativity. I especially like the simplicity of design. In black-and-white, this could easily become an eye-catching fabric, a stretched canvas, a pillow cover or even a wallpaper. It is particularly impressive this piece is the work of a third grader. However, knowing the artist as I do, it is not surprising to me that Mary has produced such an outstanding design. -- Grandma Alice
