What an interesting picture! At first it looks like you just drew red and blue images on a black piece of paper but then when you look close you see that you even took the time to color in the black columns too. I just saw your "Op Art" assignment and boy was I impressed! You must have worked really hard on this. To me it is an optical illusion - like you are looking down a deep, beautifully painted area so far down you can't see the bottom - only the dark.
