Hi Ryan, I like the colors that you chose for your wall collage. The grays, greens and blue greens evoke the oceans and spruce trees and the shapes and textures you've used speak to the inter connectedness of the natural world.

Hi Ryan, I like your pirate ship. Very piratical! I see the Jolly Roger, the masts and rigging, a sword fight, and possibly a shark fin. I also like the feeling of distance. You have suggested the swells and vastness of the ocean. Your subtle coloration of the sky being lighter behind the ship and darker toward the edges of the page reinforces this feeling. Love, Grandma

Hi Ryan, WOW!!! I LOVE your flower picture! It's so pretty and cute and cheerful! I love your color choices and your asymmetric design with the green leaves on the right hand side. You've really captured the heart of the flower!!! Love, Grandma

Hi Ryan, I really like your pop artwork. It can also be characterized as an op artwork. I like the many different colors and the long perspective which draws me in on a path inside a long colorful balloon. There are bulges on the walls which are colored differently than the main structure. I can tell that they are bulges because of the way you have drawn squares and rectangles of different sizes on these protrusions to impart their shape. It reminds Grandpa of an Easter basket. Hi Ryan, I think your collage is amazing. It is very arresting and expressionistic. Every one who looks at it will see it differently as it is very open to individual interpretations. To me it seems to be an amalgam of many different people, perhaps wondering why they don't fit together very well. The white edges of paper showing through or folded over make the portrait look broken in many places, emphasizing peoples's fragility. Many viewers would be reminded of the bewilderment and destruction of warfare. This is a powerful artwork. Love, Grandma

Hi Ryan - What an interesting sculpture! I like the way it juts off to the side like a bird or rocket taking off. This creates a visual tension for the viewer because it looks as though it might fall off of its base. It doesn't of course, but it catches your eye and holds your attention. I also like the many bright colors and designs all over its surface. Well sculpted! Love, Grandma

Hi Ryan, I love the bright primary colors you have used and the way the geo shapes and lines float across the page! I feel like I'm looking into the distance and like there are more things happening beyond the borders of the paper. Very fun and expansive. Love , Grandma
