This was a fun project to do with you. Its lucky we just happened to have most of the materials sitting on the dining room table. Everything except the paper roll. Even the cat toy so we could steal the feathers off of it. You work hard to get the mouth on there. Those little beads didn't want to stay in place. But you did a great job! - Grammy

- on November 7, 2014
Miles, I love that not only did you watch the voting process occur from the start by coming with me to vote and seeing how that works but you followed it throughout the evening with Opa watching as the results came in. This picture depicting the Republican victory shows how much interest you have in the voting process. I hope your interest follows you through your life and makes you an informed voter when you get to vote. Grammy
- on November 6, 2014

Miles, I am impressed with your ability to retain the information that is given to you. I like that you are interested enough in the voting process to ask lots of questions and then draw a picture about it. I like, also, that you draw while you're on the school bus about things that interest you. This is a wonderful depiction of how you view 'the voting process.' love Grammy

You wearing your white wig of colonial days holding the American flag is just precious. I see the civil war is going on behind you. As we have discussed it many times I can see where you have drawn some of the facts you have remembered of that war. Good job, Miles. This drawing is awesome.
