The darkness of the cast shadow was done really well, enhancing the feeling of depth and contrast in the artwork.

The artist used the full canvas to demonstrate her understanding of the prompt giving a first person perspective to the piece. The train may symbolize adventure or a journey of art. Allowing the audience to feel they are sitting in one of those train seats. The artist made a beautiful drawing and really understood the task.

The artist captured the cast shadow perfectly with the black, white, and grey tones. allowing the artwork to be the center piece having grounding lines. The larger scale portions are good even still holding that sense of realism.

Lines are incredibly in dimension, the whole thing looks well thought out. You had the perfect balance of natural flow and being articulate.

The use of positive and negative space creates so much depth in your leaves. The composition was very well thought out and all of the leaves grow out of one corner, creating a path for the viewer to follow. The line work is incredibly well done and follows the contours of the leaves. The additional object in your piece creates contrast along with the black and white creating sharp contrast.

The pattern you chose and designed inside of the leaves really Stands out and provides texture and depth. Also the black and white provides a lot of value.

The negative space adds a lot of depth to the artwork. That, and including the contrast between the dark and the white, makes the leaves pop out more. It’s like I can feel the bumpy textures of the leaves because of the meandering thick and thin lines. Amazing job!
