Dear Mathias, The tornado art piece is one that your Mom placed in the artwork book for me at Christmas. I look at it often. You have such a God-given gift for art, among other things, and it always amazes me how your talent shines through brighter and brighter. I sm very proud of you!! Love, Grandma Jan -- Jan

Mathias: Your valentine heart is very clever. Don't they call that technique "quilling"? I've done some of that before, only smaller for cards. It takes some time to get it just right. You really did a good job and the colors are perfect for valentines. You do so many different things. Looks like a lot of fun. Love, Nana Susan -- Nana Susan

Dear Mathias, Now, this artwork looks special in that I have to study it over and over to see what you may have thought when you did the art. Could it be the universe: sun, moon and planets? or could it be a game of marbles with a young lad watching?? When I see you, you surely can set me straight. I really like this one...like so many of the others. Love, Grandma Jan -- Jan
