This piece invokes several different, and conflicting, feelings for me. It's darkness is somehow comforting and although the tree is bleak, it arms are reaching out to embrace and welcome me. Interesting! -- Kathleen

This tree symbolizes to me how each of us has certain beliefs that become our "roots" or foundation for life. But as we grow and mature, those beliefs can change as we keep reaching like tree limbs toward the Light. This is awesome! -- Jan

I love your use of triangles and your decision to draw a happy skull...very unique! The flowery eyes make me wonder if the dead person is feeling peaceful...feeling o.k. with being dead. This is my favorite of your drawings. -- Jan
