Drawing in perspective can be really challenging, but is an important skill for creative people in art, architecture, and design. I am glad you had this experience learning to draw and shade in perspective. I hope you find the opportunity to use this skill outside of art class some day.

You created many attractive textures and did a neat job dry brushing your cross to enhance them.

Andrew, This is a wonderful painting you have done. I like that you painted the muddy ground and the new spring greenery on the forest floor. It gives your painting a sense of time and place. I really feel like it is a spring evening in the woods. The interesting ground gives your painting a nice 3-D feel and the shading on your birch trees is nicely done as well. I think this is a personal best. Keep up the good work!
