Drawing in perspective can be really challenging, but is an important skill for creative people in art, architecture, and design. I am glad you had this experience learning to draw and shade in perspective. I hope you find the opportunity to use this skill outside of art class some day.

You created many attractive textures and did a neat job dry brushing your cross to enhance them. YOur colors are so soft and delicate! Lovely work.

Isabel, Your painting is gorgeous. I am glad it doesn't look like mine, because it shows so much of you! I love that there is a little river winding through your woods. It reminds me of the forests in upstate New York where I lived when I was your age. You are so creative in everything you do and always put such care into your art. I think your painting is perfect.

You did a nice job creating all the different textures for your tree and leaves. This picture makes me think of cool autumn weather. Nice work!
