Ms. Lu, Your increasing range of artistic expression is so fun! Personally, this piece reminds me of the mosaics in the NYC subway stations, which always cheer up my commutes. I wonder if those mosaics are inspired by Roman art as well... Your fan, Auntie Keira

Lu, You are a good teacher! You made me look up the word tessellations since I had never heard it before getting your artwork. The way you mixed and blended all of the colors is really fantastic. I thought I almost saw a little hot pepper on one of the wings??? Probably NOT. I really liked the little hearts and diamonds. Great piece of artwork. I'm proud of your patience, planning and color scheme. -- GRANDMAN

Really fun to see your changing self-portraits every year, Ms. Tallulah! I love the dots and the background color, and I especially love how you didn't force your features to be symmetrical and just let each part of your portrait look how you saw it! Congrats, again! -- Keira

Lu, All the art work is just great but I must say that I have some favoirtes. I really liked your most current self portrait. Although it looks serious I see the hint of a mischievous smile and a lot of laughter in the eyes. The checkered cat is another of my favoites (it's just plain ole cute) but my most is the Veggie portrait. Uniquely Tallulah! Can't wait to see more! Love ya Nana -- Elinor
