OK... Chris, this shows me somebody whose hand is holding on to a rope or life line while going down a new multi dimensional shaft The "lifeline" detached somehow and it is dangling loosely while the holder is falling. Someone yells "Chris!" and its echoing in the shaft. Now, that may mean two things. First, its you who is falling loosely into this unexplored dimension and someone who was holding the line somehow let it go and is calling you. Or the person falling is someone else calling for your help. which is it??? -- PaPa

Man, Chris this bowl looks like its got spinach embedded in the walls. Actually kinda has the colors of a raw oyster shell. Could be an upside down mushroom, too. No doubt, a very interesting piece. Good job! -- Papa

This is obviously a Futuristic Knight robot. I can hear him clanging down the sidewalk ready to take on all challenges. He's got all the essentials . . .fire, water, a 360 degree swiveling head protected by a rollbar, and a pretty stout titanium cover over his internal circuitry with a pretty unique "coat of arms" on his chest. You'll have to tell me the significance of the symbols on that "coat of arms", I' not able to figure it out. . . Yet. -- Papa

Chris, now that's very colorful, kaleidescopic in fact. . . looks like a few ties all tangled up in a knot. one of the difficult and frustrating things a young man must learn. I see a message here. very expressive! PaPa -- PaPa

Chris, great choice of color and well balanced forms. I can see body parts, but this actually looks like something you would see in a microscope. Amoebas or something. Good job , Chris. PaPa -- PaPa

This is a very strange, but expressive piece. It's got a lot of African flavor along with a touch of Mayan Culture from South America. I see a monkey's face but it has characteristics of both Old World and New World Primates. Heck ,this could be a Gorilla , too! Good job, Chris! -- PaPa

Chris , this looks like an elongated self portrait! From the expression on his face I wonder what he's thinking. Good job capturing that character. Love, PaPa -- Terry

Chris, Nana Swanson loves your sunflower painting. Flowers are one of my favorite things. I planted 550 pansies in my yard this year. I am going to mail you a picture of my yard and maybe you could draw me a picture of pansies and I can put it on a postcard and mail to my friends. Love You and Carter, Nana -- Leona

I really like this painting. It captures the cool temperature of a moonlit evening sky, and at the same time shows the warmth of the earth that remains after a full day of sunshine. I can only guess that this a view of grassy hills at dusk during an early moonrise. And a happy moon at that! -- PaPa

Chris, you are amazing. This is a magical painting of a turtle. Why, the great Picasso couldn't have painted it any better. I see lots of abstract designs on his shell and a sand colored page with multi colored pebbles like on a beach. I love it. -- PaPa

Oh, Chris! This reminds me of the dead hemlock trees in the Shenandoah Mountains not far from your house. But the colors are so fresh and alive behind the tree. Its like a rainbow. Perfect for Springtime. Does the rainbow colors mean there is hope for the tree? and brighter times for the even the hemlocks in the mountains? Your poem is pretty too. -- PaPa

Very interesting and thought provoking work of art. Space- - -just think of it for a while. Planets floating around like bubbles in air. Stars so far away they're just a twinkle in the dark black sky at night. Space Ships and strange beings from other worlds... WOW! This art work shows it all. Good work, Chris. -- PaPa

WOW, Chris! This Butterfly has all the colors of Springtime. It's also light and airy , and looks like it could take off from the page and start flying. Very Nicely done. Love, PaPa -- PaPa

Finally, a portrait of a royal puppy! I always wanted to see one to tell what they look like. I like the colors you chose. Especially on the puppy's face. I guess the dark side of his face is the side away from the light. And he's a spotted dog , too. His expression and resting posture is so dignified and his crown fits pretty good. -- PaPa

This painting shows the artist's grasp of depth and perspective, along with balance of space within the scope of the subject , and the balance of color placement on the medium . This is a very soothing painting to look at. It makes me feel good. -- PaPa
