At first I did not see who this was but rather saw all the line patterns and shapes. I like the way you designed the space! I would love to know the technique you used on this as I think I can guess but am not sure... Thanks for sharing again!--your fan from SMG -- Kris

Wow, Katie! This one is really cool. I love the detail in the bark of the tree. It looks very realistic and hard edged. The way you made the other trees look smaller and higher up on the picture plan to create that illusion of depth is what I am trying to teach some of the younger kids here. Beautiful drawing! Thanks for sharing with me!

Wow! Is this a mosiac that you did in school? I love the way you combined the larger pieces of background glass with smaller pieces. I think it adds interest into the background and breaks away from the tradition of same sized pieces that artists usually use. Nice change in value in the leaves, too! I wish I would have done this kind of project in my high school!!!

Wow, Katie, this is a great drawing. You really got the hands to look realistic - not an easy thing to do! And the way you handled the background with the etched lines contrasts well with the lighter hands. Very, very nice. Thanks for finding me on here so I could find you! Keep in touch, please!
