Hi Alex, I'm sorry. I don't know which one is you. Are you playing Wii together? Remember that your best friend is Jesus! Love, Grandma

Alex, you did a wonderful job on this fish. It reminds us of our fish "Piggy" that we had to give up for adoption when we moved to California. Great Job! Love you, Aunt Julie & Uncle Stephan

Wow, Alex! This is beautiful. I might have to get some note cards with this masterpiece. Great-grandma Ruth saw your work and thinks you can excel in art along with Cullen. Great- grandma Ruth is an artist too, you know. Hope to see you in a couple weeks. Love you, Grandma

What a colorful butterfly, Alex! Makes me want to celebrate the wonderful gift of new life in Jesus. Just think! Butterflies start out as worms (really caterpillars) crawling around on the ground and after a time of miraculous & struggling transformation in a hidden place (cocoon), they become beautiful free creatures flying wherever they please. In the same way our life, has its struggles but as we hide in Christ and his Word he transforms us so that we become free to be ALL that He wants us to be. Love you, Grandma

Hi Alex, Those trees reminded me of our conversation this week on how much you like to climb. When Uncle Troy was your age, he used to climb trees. I think he would have had trouble climbing these trees though. Grandpa & I enjoyed our weekend with you and Cullen. Love you, Grandma

Hi Alex, It looks like you enjoyed this project. What treasures are you planning to store in it? Or are you going to give to someone? I like the color you chose! My prayer for you today is that our heavenly Father teach you the secret of being content in any and every situation, through Jesus , Who gives you the strength. Love you, Grandma

Alex, I really liked your MONSTER. It looks a lot like the one I had for dinner last night except it wasn't yellow it was brown and had red ears. What were the little black suckers in the Monster's mouth? Love you, Grandpa

Hi Alex. It looks like you really enjoyed making those perfect circles with the compass. I think it's fun to use too. The circle reminds me of God's love, which is like a circle. It has no beginning and no end. Jesus' love for you will never end! Love you, Grandma

Hi Alex! Do you think you would like to be an architect some day? You know, your daddy, your granddaddy, grandpa and Uncle Troy and Jesus all like to build things. Work hard on your math and keep that good eye for detail. Looking forward to seeing you next week! Love you, Grandma

Hi Alex, Your mom made a pinch pot for us when she was in middle school. We still use it to hold coins. You'll have to ask us to show it to you when you come to visit. There is a time when a prophet was told to go watch a potter making clay pots. Have you ever heard it? Love you, Grandma & Grandpa

Alex, I love your Spring Fever painting. I go for a walk very early every morning with a friend, and this past week we have been noticing spring flowers popping up to open their "faces" to the dawning sun. Your painting reminded me of the joy in new creation my heart feels on those mornings. Love, Nana

Hi Alex, Thanks for sending me your artwork. I especially like your Spring Fever piece because I have spring fever. But the rainbow reminded me of God's wonderful promises and love. Jesus loves you and so do I. I hope you'll bring one of your pieces of art to my house. I need some new ones to display. ~Grandma
