I see a bright red E peeking out from a jungle green. It looks like you had to rip all of those pieces, or did you use scissors too? Maybe the E is trying to hide, or maybe it's struggling to escape the bits of green in many shades: lime green, forest green, pea green, kelly green, light green, dark green, and even olive green. Wow, Ellis, this painting is surprising! I like it because it is colorful, balanced, and has a lot of motion. The shapes appear to tumble with energy toward the viewer! Seems like you let the water do its work! I hope you can teach ME how to do this.
