This art piece does a very good job at both showing a lot of the elements we learned in class and creating a variety of animal skins. I can clearly see that the orange one is a tiger skin, the blue is fish scales, and the red is a ladybug. I can tell this not only through the different colors used but the texture created as well.

While this art piece did follow the directions for the assignment in that 7 8-pointed stars were created, I can’t help but notice how similar all of them look. Next time some more variety should be included in both size of the stars and the color of the paper used.

The use of mixed mediums and different colors creates a well unified artwork. It’s good how you filled the negative space and used a lot of lighter colors to show the theme of the plant.

This artwork did a mostly good job at plastering the entirety of the cardboard object but there are some obvious spots where the plaster did not reach such as on the right handle. The strings also need to be removed before gesso can be applied but I no longer see tape visible like in the last progress check so good job overall.

This artwork lacks the 3d depth that it should be demonstrating due to the fact that we are in a 3d class. There is also way too much tape around the edges that will need to be removed before plastering.

I Love the contrast of this project. This project resembles good value too. Although I think some improvements should be made, plastering better.

The illusion of the walls is very cool.

This piece of artwork can benefit from incorporating some more of the principles of design. For starters there is quite a bit of negative space left on the paper I feel this piece of art would also look nicer if the left and right sides were symmetrical instead of the right side slanting up more.

I can tell you are an astute follower of the elements of art based on some of your drawings in this piece. The heart drawing incorporates symmetrical balance while the sketch on the second page shows an example of asymmetrical balance through how the three animals in a row are not al the same but they are about equally spaced with equal space on both sides of the sketch.

This artwork does a very good job at applying some of the principles we have learned in class including leaving no negative space on the paper and the vast majority of the letters resemble 3d forms that properly create depth in the space provided.

I like how you filled the page a lot with writing and images to convey the idea of what is being shown. Color would help convey the idea better but overall well done.

I like the scoring of the objects so that they are able to bend well. It seems like the scoring was well however it seems like the middle one looks cut through a little far.

Some of your scoring is a little rough but it looks like you have got the concepts down and I know you will improve.

A lot of your shapes are most impressive but I think your amoeba shapes still need some work in getting them rounder and not squared.
