I really like the line work on this piece. I like how it looks like the paper clip is behind a wall. The lines give it an effect of that. I also really like the shading on the table to make it look like the shadow of the paper clip.

I like the artists usage of line within this piece. The space within each line lessens in areas of less contrast, which allows the artist to see where the darkest and lightest parts of the subject are.
