I really like this picture and especially like the way the yellow and orange bird has the same colors as the sun! And, I think that making the pumpkins different shapes is realistic because all pumpkins are sometimes various shapes. I especially like the way you colored the blue sky and the green pumpkin patch. I so enjoy your pictures, Lauren and they always make me smile.

I absolutely love this picture, Lauren! I think the color of the bird perfectly reflects the colors in the sun, the yellow in the car, and also picks up the orange in the pumpkins. Nothing is perfect so I think that the various shapes of the pumpkins make them seem more real and I love that you also made them different sizes. I suppose that whenever we create something, our first impulse is “how could I have made it better?” Instead, I feel that you and me too, should focus on what we like and what makes it special. What you can create, draw and color at the age of 11 is incredible. You are truly talented and I feel so fortunate in getting to see and enjoy your artistic creations. Thank you for making me smile. Lauren, I really like the way you created so many different shaped leaves and in so many colors. And I also like the ways that they seem to be “falling down”— just like the many leaves falling in our backyard now. I think that the 3 larger leaves on the table provide a nice balance to those that are above the donut! The donut looks delicious and lots larger than the ones the bakeries sell here. In addition, I can’t help but notice the detail on the table gray table. (I thought the drink looked like a glass of orange juice — someone one often might drink with a donut!). I so enjoyed seeing your colorful Fall picture! Gramma

Once again I am impressed by your creativity and your ability to create a picture with so much detail. I especially noticed the bracelet on the hand, the nicely shaped finger nails, the shading in the coffee cup, the steam arising from the hot coffee, the colorful heart on the cup, the carefully designed spoon, the individual coffee beans on the table, and then the arrangement of the coffee beans being sprinkled into the cup! Wish it was this easy to make my coffee stronger some days! This is so special. You truly have artistic talent! Looking forward to more pictures!

This picture has brought a big smile to my face! What delightful little muffins, all happily seated in their paper cups! I love the way you made each muffin unique and individual by giving them different eyes and smiles. The little yellow ruffle on the edge of each of the top two plates adds a nice touch of color. Your picture will forever stay in my mind, Lauren, especially the next time I make blueberry muffins! Your sense of humor really comes through!

I am amazed by the detail in this picture, Lauren! I especially like the way you created a stack of books, showed writing in the open book on the lower left and the open book above the little yellow character, and created such special facial expressions on the two characters! The more I look at this picture, the more I see!

Very clever and whimsical cupcake visualization.

Stacking the cupcakes is a great idea. I like the way you changed the expressions of the animals. I was looking for clues about what the animals are. I love the curls on top of their heads. They all look too cute to eat!
