Friendships hold God’s world together… a simple gesture of holding hands is a symbol that you care. And a sign of fellowship for peace!

Love all the fall colors, warm and cool! You have done a great job on drawing the sections of the pumpkin, and making it look very realistic. Plus, I like how you divided the background in to four sections of cool colors, leading to a vanishing point behind the pumpkin. Great job, Jax. Nana Pam

Jax, what a nice job you have done on your self portrait! I like that you started your head with the oval or egg shape. And that you realized that some humans eyes meet up different with other parts of the head. For example, some kids eyes are even with their ears. When I compared your drawing to one of your photos from the fire station trip, I noticed that your eyes were a bit higher than the top of your ears. Your nose was aligned in the middle of your ear, and your mouth was at the bottom of your ear lobes. I think you did a great job on your placement of your eyes, nose and mouth. Way to go Jax... Observation... seeing things others don't see! When you asked me "Nanna, how do I become a good artist?" That's the answer, noticing the details, really looking at faces, and seeing the shape of their head, round, square, oval, where do the eyes line up? is it with the ears, or above, or below? And when you get everything close, I will teach you the science to drawing proportions of a face. Oh, I guess that's why you are in art class. Lol. Hugs, buddy!
