Your lily pads look like lily pads, but also like two fish talking to each other with pretty flowers behind their ears :) I like how you creatively designed each of the lily pads and how you colored on one and did horizontal folds on the other to make them look different. THis is such an interesting piece. When I first looked at it I thought the black figure was a dress that was dancing to the rhythms represented by the yellow slips of paper. But then I saw the strings and realized it was a guitar or lute and it was the source of the music! I too, love the details of the background. Dear Gracie, This is a really fun and colorful drawing. It is almost like a design for a quilt or a pillow, with the wonderful border/frame your created. I love the animal and am hoping it is a cat, because I love cats so much and miss my cat Xeno. But the animal may well be a dog or fox as well and I really like its face! You made interesting color choices for the border and I am impressed with how well they work together. Although I tend to especially love pink and gray, I also love the pink and avocado green! Dear Gracie, I really like your new artwork called Mud Hut! The animal near the mud hut made me smile because I can imagine you working on this and it making you happy to draw the animal. Dear Gracie, I love both these pieces. The 'background' colors are wonderful. (Are they tissue paper collages? Water colors?). The images are striking portrayals of the sun and moon, which are intricately decorated. You seem to strike the perfect balance of space, color and design. Beautiful!

What a wonderful use of bright colors! I love the movement of the different shapes, especially the squiggles! They create a nice balance with the more abstract expressions of coloring the middle of the painting. balance to the abstract expressions of color. This painting makes me feel happy!
