The levels of light and shadow are almost seamless. It looks so realistic and well done.

When I look at this art work, I think the hatches make it look like it came straight out of a comic book! I can clearly see the vision of the end of the dark cave being in the distance with I imagine to be a flashlight emitting light around the edges near the viewer, while peering down a dangerous cave to create some depth to the piece. Really creative!
