I think that's the cutest polar bear I've ever seen!! I especially love his hat and scarf - he looks so comfy and cozy!

So THIS is what's hidden in the paper bag until Arthur's birthday. He is going to love it. 1) He loves bears. 2) You used his favorite color for the scarf. 3) The hat and the scarf are Michigan colors. You've been doing such a great job with your clay characters over the last few weeks. Between the ones you made for me and mom, and now this one for Arthur, you are definitely our family's #1 sculptor!

I love this polar bear. I can tell you gave your all on this picture! He looks friendly and I like his blue and green scarf (nice colors!). Also the background is fun. It looks like a confetti party on a snowy day! Perfect time for the freezing cold snow we've had this week. Great job Ray!

Ray - you did a great job on this picture. I love the way you colored the striped sky in the background. Also, that corn is making me hungry. And the scarecrow is…SCARY! This picture reminds me of fall and I like that because I love this time of year. Also it reminds me of when we went to the apple orchard and went through the corn maize. We should do that again soon!
