I love this painting! The size of the fireweed makes me remember how they can make me feel very small. I also like how the sky has many shades of blue - I feel like I can see the clouds blowing across the tundra.

I love how the colors fill the whole page and the fireweed is layered. It reminds me of the time you biked around the neighborhood to pick fireweed and then we made jelly.
