I like the gradations of light and dark. That's my favorite thing about the piece. Second favorite is how the center seems to be receding but the very center feels like it is bulging out. The makes the whole piece move.

I am really drawn to this one, Sebastian, intrigued by both the artwork and the emotions it evokes in me. I'd love to know the process for creating this. It really is quite stunning. I keep wanting to look at it. It's one of my favorites that you've done so far.

Wow! Every time I think I've seen all the faces, I see another one. I don't know how you kept track of them as you were creating this. I especially like all the different types of eyes. :-)

I like this! Every time I look at it I see something new. It reminds me a little of Pablo Picasso's work - - also some of the artworks of the Haidi people of western North America. Thanks for doing this!

I like it! It feels like there is a big story behind this, with snakey doorkeepers guarding an opening to a different world, and square glasses and an almost smile. He more I look the more I see. Are those medals on the shoulder? You've created a character!

Sebastian, You really captured the style with this one! The eyes are particularly effective, framed as they are with the darker glasses. And I like the way the vines seem to suggest movement, as if they might be growing even as you watch. The little detail of the pins/buttons on the shirt is a nice touch, too. I really like it!!!

Love it, Seb! That hard work shows! I like how the portrait is framed with twisty thorny vines, and the stitches on the simple mouth is a really nice touch.

Oh, Sebastian, this might be my favorite one yet (although I really did like the soccer one, too). The colors are so rich, they kind of invites me to think about what the taste of each scoop is. I also like the way they look like they're just a little precariously balanced, the way most hand-scooped ice cream cones look. Really fun! Very nice work. Love you, Gramma Karen

I think my favorite flavor will be the middle scoop on the right hand cone. Maybe a blueberry?

The minute I saw just a glance of this in my email I had to look at it closer. It's a very powerful piece, that just radiates energy. I'm glad you can see things that you want to work on to make it even better, but I think it's great the way it is!

What a great piece! I love the high energy colors.

Oh heck yeah ! So cool !

Cool, Seb! It doesn't look sloppy to me. I really like the effect of colors and shapes being in this kind of starburst.

Great piece Sebastian! My favorite is the shadow work "behind" each shape.

Sebastian, it looks really great! I really like the sense of dimension you get in this one and the shading. And I also like your extra shape bunches. So glad we have this way to see your artwork and how you are progressing. Love you.

So cool with all the shading and that complex shape in the middle! I love it!

I like reading about how you did this Sebastian. It makes the artwork even more enjoyable for me. I particularly like the globe shape and the cone.

Cool shadows and shading! this may be my favorite so far.

I like it!

Great piece, Seb! I thought of Alice in Wonderland, like Jenny said. It also reminds me of the indigenous art in the area of Canada and the US near where we live. They have lots of art pieces that use red and black and blue for colors.

So cool! I really like this one ??

I like the little blue monster at the back, Sebastian. And I like the way the grass makes me feel the movement of the wind! Nice work!

It looks like you worked really hard on this. I like the deep tones to the shading. It's abstract but feels moody. The cone is my favorite, too.

I like the abstract elements to this -- and my favorite detail is the uneven sweatshirt strings.
- Jennette (Mother) on May 1, 2023

This is cool -- almost feels like it could be art in Alice in Wonderland/Through The Looking Glass, because it reminds me of playing cards and chess pieces.

Cute monsters, Seb! I like how the one in the foreground seems to be staring at me!
