What I love about Simona’s landscapes are probably that they are more intuitive rather than planned. The manner in which she builds up cumulative layers of paint by adding, moving, and subtracting paint. Her canvases have the same intrinsic beauty of a palimpsest where layers are scraped back to expose prior layers and then blurred again. Simona’s abstract work is remarkable for the illusion of space that it develops out of this incidental process.

I love this very modern abstract.. I think the blue represent the sadness of the artist. The Red is the emotion of anger and yellow is the brightness/happiness of the artist. I think this represents the border of the different emotions as well as the mixed of emotions you get in certain situations. Very smart depiction.
