Elle, I think this plate is a glorious view of water in its most amazing form….. snowflakes!! One day you will learn of the special, magical properties of water (H2O) that are so vital to life. Can you believe it is true that no two snowflakes are alike? Here you have arranged the flakes in an alternating large and small pattern with different shades of purple and violet (or grape if you prefer) which surrounds a beautiful, huge aquamarine snowflake in the center all superimposed on an aquamarine background. It is a very pleasant display of colors. The plate has folds on the edge that remind me of a pie. I think you could call it a snowflake pie! Another job wonderfully done! Keep up the your unique style of art - it is amazing. Love, Papa

How amazing is this drawing! I see parts of faces everywhere, and they stand out with your wonderful color selection. You must have studied under the great artist Pablo Picasso. Congratulations on another awesome effort!

My, my this drawing shows new and improved drawing techniques. How nice What an amazing halo around the comet - I love that smudge effect. And you have given your owl so much character. The dabs on the chest feathers, the shading of the wing feathers, and most of all I love the lines on Mr or Mrs owl’s heart-shaped face. Keep up the great work!! Once again your attention to detail is standout. Very cool

I think this drawing should be titled “Holiday” because you have done such a wonderful job of capturing 3 big holidays that happen at this time of the year - Thanksgiving, Christmas and Hanukkah! Papa loves your use of swirls on the tree and sectioned circles on the house to spice up the drawing. Santa’s sleigh and his 9 reindeer are priceless! The dark moon is a very interesting feature as sometimes the moon is dark. Your drawing of the small Menorah in front of the turkey shows a lot of attention to detail. Once again you have crafted an image that is a feast for the eyes! Such a wonderful creation. Papa loves it :-)) GREAT JOB!

Wow Elle! What a magnificent array of pleasing colors you have chosen to bring alive the flowing and cascading outlines of the drawing. The way you have blended them creates a very delightful visual effect that fires the imagination. Perhaps there is a road passing through a valley between two towering mountain chains - or the fabric pattern of a very striking dress - or maybe just a beautiful drawing to enjoyed. You have a wonderful artistic expression and Papa is very proud! Keep up the good work!

Oh my gosh Elle! Papa loves your view of the ant world. I see a room with ants eating apples, peaches and watermelon -delicious! I see a math class with the correct answers on the blackboard…..I see ants dancing together….I see an ant perhaps playing piano…I see a room with a door, cabinets and maybe a refrigerator….I see an ant growing beets and carrots underground…..it looks like the ants are having fun sliding down to their school below! Such a rich creation……I know it draws from many wonderful experiences in your life!

Elle, Your imagination is on fire! That is one scary haunted house scene. I love the critters that are crawling on the sun with each one numbered like the 12 hours of the clock. Except there is a 13 critter. How unlucky! The green gremlins in the windows are a nice touch. Also, I love that all your scary ghosts and goblins are smiling :) !
