Melody, wow, this is pretty awesome! At first, my imagination saw a Ferris wheel going around and around. You did a fabulous job transforming a simple paper plate to a colorful work of art. How fun it must have been for you to add the yarn to this project. Your choice of colors really brings this painting to life. It’s so true that learning new things can be so much fun! I remember how much fun it was when I was in school, designing a picture without scissors and using lots of paste to create a beautiful landscape scene! I can picture us taking a walk together in a beautiful park that looks just like this. Great job honey! I am so proud of you. Keep up the good work. Melody, you certainly have become a fabulous watercolor nature painter. I love your winter landscape painting and how beautiful the colors go together. I especially love how the sky meets the ground and how the colors pop and blend so well together. Nature takes is outdoors where we can enjoy the beauty of each season, Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer. Which one is your favorite? Once again, you have made my mind wonder about so many beautiful things like running through a beautiful meadow of flowers in someones back yard or wonder what it must be like to live on a river in a boat or in a tree house or even a round house like an igloo! Haha! But most of all, your painting makes me think of all the beautiful and fun times we had at your house when I come to visit! I especially love the use of swirly strokes you made with your paintbrush using some of my favorite colors, pink, purple, green and red. It almost looks like there’s an eye looking back at me in your painting! Love your work.
