Wonderful Elsie B!! Love how the illustration of the girl "jumps" off the background. Really like the eyes, and your placement of the highlight within the eyes really makes them pop. Also love your treatment of her lips, how you chose to have the ears show, and the simplicity of her nose. No bridge necessary at all. It all works so well together! Nice job!

Pointillism (or stippling) is so much fun, very challenging, but so very rewarding. This is great and you are doing excellent Elsie B! Wonderful contrast in illustrating a black and a white bunny. You challenged yourself and that's what will make you a better artist. You're getting it - keep on dong it. This is one of my favorite forms of illustration.

Wow Elsie! Very nice! I really feel the mood of this painting. Really like the light hitting her face, her hat, and the background is simply wonderful! Put some time in working on hands. Artists often put them off to the end almost as an afterthought, but they are so important. They are very hard, but once you get them down, they are very fun to draw as they can be SO expressive!

Wonderful Elsie B! Love all the little details - the purse, the flowers, the bow, her left hand holding up her dress, and the glass slipper tilted to show it's falling off. Very nice print design on the dress too. In this case, with the dress being full of detail, the simple background works well. But don't forget, backgrounds are important.

Love it Elsie B! Really like the contrasting sold base and the fluid movement of the leaves (or cactus pods). The leaves look so delicate and I have to compliment you on the composition of the leaf placement. Obviously that was alot of work and took quite a bit of time. Keep it up - you have a real talent!

Perspective and illustrating in 3D is always a challenge ... but oh so fun!! You're doing very well. You're right on with the shading of the heart. Your color variation and the black dot shading (called "pointillism") really makes the heart look round. Nice job Elsie!

The variety of colors and the way you illustrated their movement from top to bottom is awesome. Lucky the cat is perfectly centered on the design and at the same time allowing for the name at the top. Very hard to do but you nailed it!

Love the use of all the color on this Elsie! Also I enjoy seeing the many varieties of "you" in your art. I have to disagree though ... I really like the colorful llama!
