After taking a summer sabbatical Eleanor returns with a Banksy-esque balloon masterpiece. I especially like the random monster in the left corner, indicating the ever present dread of...monsters. Finally one is drawn fading colors in the right half of the work, where one might be tempted to think that the artist grew bored or disinterested in finishing, but alas, it is not so! All of the brush-strokes are purposeful and beautiful as always.

Another Eleanor masterpiece.

Just like Henry Mundy and so many other artists who have taken a long hiatus to examine nature, travel the world, reach one of the levels of nirvana, or whatever, and then returned to create a masterpiece, Eleanor has accomplished so much in this glorious penguin, filled with hibernal wonder and wintry magic.

In this penultimate work, one is reminded of Jan van Kessel's famous art with insects, although this is clearly a superior work. Notice the use of dimension and distance, with the posterior of the caterpillar appearing further away, which is the mark of a serious artist. An award-winning piece if ever there was one. Brava.

Those teeth! Grandma Joyce

Wow! Such imagination in this self-portrait, even the great Emily Carr would be put to shame. The little flower is the cherry on top/bottom/whatever.

Move over Albrecht Dürer, there's a new face in the rabbit painting biz, and her name is Eleanor!

Those teeth are awesome.

Very profound piece here, topical as well. I also see a great deal of influence from Grant Wood in this work. American Gothic Snowmen Family.

For a 5 year old the detail in this picture is amazing.

Now I'm seeing a heavy Salvador Dali influence on Eleanor's latest work. Brava!

The silliest and cutest pumpkin. Reminiscent of Picasso's orange period.
