I see a young artist sitting on the deck of the pool experimenting with “en plein air”, a style used by many of the impressionists.

Very nice! Mountains and swimming. Two of your favorite things. You put really good detail into those swim lanes!

This looks like one smart, talented lady! Watch out world!

Kerrina, What a lovely lady you have drawn! I love that she is winking and the shape of her mouth. She looks like she has a secret. Love, Grandma Maureen

The colors and patterns are so interesting Kerrina. Is there a hidden meaning buried within the artwork??

So many times it’s the book cover that entices one to pick up a book and decide to read it. As I look at this I wonder if the village is really as peaceful as it looks. I guess I would have to read the book!

What an interesting piece. The longer I look at it , the more I see in the shapes and patterns: I once has a beaded change purse that had many colors. I wonder what ever happened to it!

Am I looking at a city? Or am I looking at cells under a microscope? Is it a maze? This is very interesting…

Your art reflects the world we live in today Kerrina. A sleeping village unaware of what they re about to wake up to. "Calm Before the Storm" Great work.

I very much enjoyed your most recent art project featuring various patterns and designs Kerrina. The weaved patterns resembled layers of fabric on a garment. I hope you continue to explore art in all it s forms.

Kerrina, I love that you did your entire piece of artwork in black and white and used so many patterns! I find myself studying the individual patterns. Great job! Love, Grandma Maureen

So many interesting designs. I have a friend who does this as a hobby and she has made beautiful designs worthy of framing and has sent me a pack of note cards she created. She finds this type of art helps her to focus as well as help her to relax. Great work!

Kerrina..Your recent artwork is not only colorful but musical as well..At the end of a string instrument located under the pegs is a carved peice called a scroll. You have one in blue and one in gold. Bravo!!

You’ve done an A+ job on a self portrait which I would think is not an easy thing to do. Love your work.
- Marilyn on April 26, 2023
Kerrina, Your self portrait is very much in the same style as Kehinde Wiley. Your serious expression, plus the background you used is all in his style. Your art work is excellent! Love, Grandma Maureen

Kerrina, I love it! It reminds me of something Andy Warhol’s art.
- Grandma Maureen on December 28, 2022

It’s great d'Artagnan! One for All, and All for One! (Title suggestion: “Under the Milkyway.” But seriously, this is one of my favorites. (The art, not the candy bar… that’s about a #5). How did you make the colors look like a real wrapper?
- Matthew on December 23, 2022
This is a favorite candy of mine! Don’t eat then all.
- Marilyn on December 23, 2022

The colors go together really well! I like how there are buildings when you look at it one way, but it's also just patterns within the squares. Really nice.
- Jason (Father) on October 12, 2022

- Maureen on October 12, 2022
I really love how it seems like there are so many pictures within pictures. I see different houses. I love the colors even the darker colors make it the brighter ones seem brighter. Thank you for sharing your work!

What I find most interesting about this piece are the doorways... where do they lead, and what s the story behind each door. Something to think about Kerrina
- Aunt Elena on October 12, 2022
What I find most interesting about this piece of art Kerrina, are the number of doors. What s the story behind the doors, and where do they lead. Something to think about.
