Hi Emi, A nice artistic start to your 4th grade school year. The colors, lines, patterns and words are as Extraordinary as you are, as are the various "fonts" or styles you wrote out the letters for each word. I also like the shading and colors on your giant E, which made it 3-dimensional. Your color and design choices for the various background patterns are unique and interesting. Wow Emi, Looks to me like you have been studying Vincent Van Gogh and his many sunflower paintings. Your Pastel is beautiful!! The highlights of light and shadow enhance the picture greatly as do the black outlines.

Hi Emi, You have created another delightful work of art. Three dimensional art is so very interesting to look at , and yours is just that! I really like it. You used so many different techniques to turn your paper plates into flowery art. It is nice to see your creativity expand beyond drawing and painting 2-dimensional work.

The colors of this snake are beautiful. I love the overlapping loops of its skin! It appears to be looking straight at me with those piercing eyes and soulful face. the leaves all seem to be bowing down to the King. Everything you have added to the drawing from the tiniest leaf to the greenish mossy branch and the overlapping cluster of leaves enhance this marvelous snake. Great Work!

Your jungle monkey is cute as can be. Your use of texture on it's body to show it's hair is really well done, as is the branch that he's hanging on to. The texture of the bark is nicely done. Keep hanging in there monkey! The variety of background blues just seem to pull everything together. Love you!

Your abstract picture of the sweet looking bull is so interesting to look at. By the way you drew his eyes and nose you have given him quite an expressive face. He looks sweet, gentle and slightly sad. The background tree, crops, river and hills are just perfect. Nice job Emi.

What a delightful Still Life with a variety of flowers and their bright green leaves. You did nice work on using perspective. The dark outlines highlight the edges of your design and make it quite striking. As always, keep up the good work. Love you!

I love your Kusama Pumpkin! The pumpkin color and dots just make it pop out in a 3-Dimenson effect from the background. Also, your gentle lines and appropriate dots on the pumpkin have captured the feeling of a pumpkin, for sure. The white painted lines on the blue give the appearance of a tile mosaic. The brown base with the blue dots are a nice foundation for your spectacular pumpkin. You should frame this and keep it forever!

Your "Graffiti Name" looks so dramatic because the strong colors of your letters stand out in contrast to the subdued background of the cement colored block/stone wall. Nice job! I always enjoy seeing how you compose a picture. Your letters are tied together nicely by the way you overlapped them and also by the way you made the warm to cool colors flow across all three letters in parallel bands or stripes! Keep up your good thinking and creating!

Although I am just seeing this in Spring, you must have been creating a cool Autumn night. Your use of yellow brightening the pumpkin tops is evidence the moon is kissing the tops of the pumpkins. The pumpkins’shadows are perfectly placed on the dark field. I love the layers of colors in the night sky with the accent of twinkling stars! It is beautiful Emi.
