Your friend is very photogenic Tyler. But this photo is different from the others. When people move quickly when the photo is taken you get a blurry affect. I'm glad that you chose this one to saturate with color. It really makes me rub my eyes!

I think perhaps that this is a clay piece. Although I only see one viewpoint, your clues, land and sea, lead me to believe that it is an abandoned lighthouse. There appears to be plants growing on and around it from years of neglect. Bravo!

Love the perspective here! It looks as though Zoe is lying down. But...wait! Maybe it is you Tyler who is lying down. Perspective is so much fun. Keep shooting pic.

Don't sit on me!!! At first I thought that this detail was the center of a beige flower. Ha I hope you can try a close up of flower. Georgia O'Keefe was an artist who painted various flowers, cropped to just reveal just the center and some part of a flower-but never the whole flower. Nice job Tyler.

Is the world under attack? When the viewer has no idea of the scale of the objects are, you can have some fun! Hope you get to play around with " scale of size" some more.

Tyler, you must be studying photography. You seem to have all the necessary items that a pirate would use in your arrangement. I love how the lighting castes shadows and makes it look creepy. And I laughed at the spy glass and cigar. Hardy hat har

Tyler I can see that this is not a drawing or a painting so, did you make a stuffed dog? If so, it is so cute and looks very cuddly. According to the photo, it could be a mini or giant. Great job!

Tyler did you go there on a field trip? I've never been there myself. It looks like a beautiful bright day with some clouds and wind. You guys must have climbed up onto this giant rock mountain and chilled out to catch your breath. You must be looking down on the water below, which looks very dark. I love the changing colors on the rock. Rocks are never just one color particularly when the clouds are in the sky. This looks like a memory of you and your friend. Nice job!

When I saw the title of this piece, I was not surprised. Looking at all those lines that go up(as if going up a mountain)and then down and criss-cross; they span the length and width of the entire space. This reminded me of a train route. And also the line look jazzy like it is moving to music. Good job young man. Love it!

Wow! This is an amazing art piece. The sunset really caught my eye. And, the contrast of the black castle is startling. I'm sure that the colors of the grass and land are more subtle in person. Very excellent Tyler. Can't wait to see more. Patty

This is a terrific drawing. Learning perspective is pretty darn difficult. And look at all the fun things you have put into the cubicles. I'm impressed Tyler??

Tyler, I love the off-centered form that you made. It's very quirky and the designs on it fit very well. This project had many steps and your explanation was so accurate that I could visualize each one. The final result is eye-catching! Congrats! Auntie Patty ??

This is probably my favorite piece from your collection Tyler. After reading about your process, it is my conclusion that you put a whole lot of effort and care into this artwork. It is so vibrant! The background patterns are really fun and make me smile. You are definitely a good artist of the 5th grade caliber!

That is a super drawing of a face! I also think it's a self-portrait. This used to be a favorite unit of mine to teach. You were really looking at where all your features are placed on your face and did a fabulous job with the details.

Wow! I love how you guys created a tableau of this piece. I'm not familiar with this artwork, but you all look very serious. Your art teacher has some great ideas about teaching you art history.

Tyler, I love how the watercolor gets lighter and darker..:just like the sky does. You put a lot of detail in the spaceship which makes it an interesting object to focus on. You did a super job with this piece.
