Wow - this piece is super cool! I love that the artist walked us through the steps she took to create it in detail. Hearing her journey inspires me to think that I could create something similar! Love it- reminds me of a mashup of Marilyn Monroe and David Bowie.

WOW WOW WOW I love this so much! So much meaning and so intense! I could stare at this and think for hours. And love the artist's choices of materials and even the phrasing, with the question mark. I read in Artnews that the artist had suffered a pretty serious glue gun injury while making this piece. Well, it wasn't in vain, because it turned out fantastic!

I love this. I am a huge fan of sculpture, and bronze sculpture in particular, so that you were able to make something that looks like a bronze, but with a soft material and paint is very cool and creative. the abstract nature of the lion is engaging bc you can see that it's a lion, but still allows your own imagination to play with and fill in the shape and movement you think is happening. love it!

What I appreciate about this peice is the abstract. The lions shape is softer, leading the person to their own interpretation of what the lion is doing, what position, and what stature. Well done!
