Dear Reid, it's amazing what happens when you mix colors with any other color! By the way, do I see a little creature curled up in the corner of the yellow and black block? However did it sneak into your picture?? You're mixed up colors are very interesting! Well done, with love from,

Dear Reid, what a beautiful scene! Gemma and I just came back from our 3:00 walk and I could just jump right in that beautiful Blue River! Impressionist artists painted many pictures that are among my favorite watercolor paintings. Wonderful painting by Reid! With love,

Dear Reid, I remember Lois Ehlert! She created some wonderful, and award-winning, artwork in her books. You have also created a wonderful art work! It looks like these 2 birds are having a great conversation. Is that you underneath them, watching and listening? I hope they are somewhere warm with no snow! Keep on making your art! I very much like your Statue of Liberty. You've made her tall and strong with open arms. Did you also read the famous lines of the poem that is on a plaque on the statue? My mother's family on her mother's side came from Ireland to the United States and were welcomed, just like the plaque says, "Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,...Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!" Thank you for your wonderful picture. Love,

Dear Reid, Wow! Your art skills are growing!! I wonder if "K-nuffle" is riding in the car on a sand bucket and going to the beach? Can you send me a message and tell *your* story to me? Love and hugs,

Dear Reid, Great job with the weaving! So now you must know what ROYGBIV means! Did you know that you can make a top for a pie that you're going to bake by doing the same kind of weaving? Yep, you can. Roll out the uncooked dough, cut it into equal strips and start weaving! Maybe someday we can try that. Really Outstanding Young Boy Gives Interesting Views ??

Hi, Reid! I think you must enjoy riding your bus to school. Everyone in a window is smiling! And...I like the way you are able to create a cloud by leaving an unpainted spot in the sky, with swirls to make it look puffy and fluffy. Great colors, as always! Love,

Dear Reid, I have never seen a Knudfle Bunny! How lucky I am that you could draw one to show me that he is yellow with a button nose and oval, surprised eyes! I think that your Knudfle Bunny would feel soft. I am pleased to meet your Knudfle Bunny. Love, Grandma Gwyneth

Dear Reid, I am so sorry--I forgot to open the email with this artwork in it. I do love those blues and purples that you use. They are vibrant colors. Also, the picture reminds me of fireworks on a story night. Wow! Oooooh! Whoa! That was loud! Makes me wish it was the 4th of July! Love, Grandma G.

Hi Reid! Your polar bears must be very happy--you've given them a cold color background. It reminds me of the early morning yesterday when I looked out the window and saw a crystal clear sky with the bright almost-full moon shining BRIGHTLY! Love your art, love you to the icebergs and back! Grandma G.

Hello Reid I'm so glad to see your artwork from kindergarten!! You have used some very interesting things to add to your painting. I think I would like to have a hat made out of blue feathers just like you chose here. Oh and I see a leash! Yes? Just like I use for Gemma? I'm going to go look at your second picture now. Look for my note to you there.
