Hi Samatha, This is Grandpa Spano and I have seen your painting and love it. I like the colors you have chosen and the image of a summer day that you have created. It looks like it may be a cactus with flowers blooming just as ours have done in our backyard. The summer sun has warmed the cactus drawing forth the beautiful flowers reaching upward to the deep blue sky. It could also be a large sunflower that has bloomed and is reaching out to the sun on a warm sunny day. I have not been able to figure out what the white specks are with the object attached to it unless it is a hummingbird just flying away from the cactus having just drawn nectar from its flowers. I will send pictures of our cactus to your mom with all its flowers.It is a beautiful painting that makes me feel happy.
