Good job on your art piece Eva! I like the colors you chose too.. I bet the dots took you a long time and patience! I bet the fall colors in Iowa are pretty tight now. It is still very hot here in Florida! We love and miss you!

Hi Eva-I’m glad to see that you are back in school and doing your art projects. It’s so fun for us to see what you are doing in art class! Your “Olympic Figure Problem Solving” assignment looks interesting and I see you used your favorite color purple! Keep up the good work! We love you!

Hi Eva-I just saw your “folk art flowers” artwork. Wow-the colors are so bright ! The orange flower looks good enough to eat! Your pretty blue vase is just the right height to hold all the pretty flowers too. Very nice piece Eva-I can’t wait to see all of your works of art next year! We love you and can’t wait to see you soon in Iowa and again in August when you come visit us in Florida!

Oh my goodness Eva-I just noticed that on some comments that I have made to you about your artwork it ends in two question marks (??). On those comments, I must have put a heart or smiley face and then it must change to them to ??. There is never a question that we love and miss you Sweet Eva!!!!!!

We love your under the sea picture Eva!! The way you shaded the blue water is really neat! You did a great job overlapping your sea creatures too!! Such a colorful and artistic art piece where you really used your imagination to get the underwater effect! You need to come back down to Florida again sometime so we can go to the beach and see the dolphins and more sea life. We love and miss you Eva??

It looks like Spring is here in your new art piece Eva! It looks like you cut pieces and shapes from various designed paper and pasted them onto your paper. So creative and I especially love your butterfly and how you constructed the sun, tree, and flowers! What a fun year of art! I’m so glad we get to enjoy your artistic talent all the way down in Florida! We love you Eva??

Eva - your woven kitty is so cute! I like how you put the eyes on two different color backgrounds too. I wonder if you named this kitty? I’m guessing it is a girl with her pink ears and pink stripes. What a fun art project! We love and miss you!!!

Hi Eva-it looks like you are working with metal now. I remember doing metal tooling when I was in grade school…a LONG time ago!! I love how you made the metal shades of pink for Valentine’s Day and the hearts too. Very nice! We love you!

I love your new cut out art Eva! It’s perfect for Valentine’s Day and the bright colors are so fun!!! We love you! Happy Valentine’s Day too!

Hi Eva-it looks like you are doing pottery now by modeling pieces of clay together. I bet you rolled the top piece to make it rounded and smooth. It’s interesting to see how your piece turns out after glazing it, isn’t it? Art is so fun!?? I’m glad you had a fun Christmas-maybe you’ll get some snow soon!!! Love you Eva!

Mmmmm…. your “cup of hot cocoa” looks yummy Eva! I like how you added the marshmallows and made it look warm with billows of steam coming out of it-it’s been chilly in Iowa, so I bet that would taste great on a cold day! I love the colors and the patterns in your cup and in the background too! What a great job on this project Eva! Love to you and Merry Christmas!

Hi Eva-what a fun art piece! I see that your project was “Symmetrical warm-cool bugs”. I love the shades of blues and greens that you used. Also the background design is so interesting -it almost looks like it is stitching. You have such a great artistic imagination Eva! I bet your weather in Iowa is starting to feel like fall and the leaves are changing colors-I miss that down here in Florida! We love you-keep up the good work!

Hi Eva-We absolutely love your underwater self portrait! I think it’s your best art piece yet! It’s so neat how you made your hair going up since you are going underwater. The way you made your lips closed tight and your cheeks also shows that you are holding your breath while going under-very clever! Then to top it off the bubbles around you and rainbow design with “I Love You” is so pretty and colorful. Excellent job Eva- you really put a lot of thought and creativity into you art piece! We love and miss you!

Hi Eva-I love your cute little guy artwork. It looks like he has a striped sombrero of colorful construction or tissue paper that you cut into rectangles. Blue eyes, triangular nose, and a yellow pepper for a mouth - very creative! We love and miss you Eva??

Hi Eva-it looks like you’re doing clay pottery now. It’s fun molding things and I bet it was fun creating your snowman. I especially like the red pom-pom on your snowman’s hat! I bet you can make a real snowman up in Iowa now since you probably have snow on the ground. We can only make sand snowmen in Florida! Love and miss you Eva!

Hi Eva-I enjoyed seeing your new art project. Neat that you used different shapes to create what looks to me like maybe a robot. Sometimes if you look around a room, it’s amazing how many different shapes you can see! It sounds like it is getting chillier up in Iowa and maybe you’ll even get some snow soon… then you can make a snowman with some circle shapes ??! We love and miss you Eva!

Hi Eva-it looks like you are doing brush painting with watercolors in art. It’s fun to mix the paints together to see what color you’re going to get! We hear it is cold up in Iowa this week-stay warm! Love and miss you!

Nice work Eva!!

This artwork piece is so neat Eva! I love the bubblegum pink color with the black body and outlines around it. The dimension of your outlines almost makes the body appear like it’s falling downward. Really cool! Love you! Nana and Papa

Eva, I love your moody self portraits-although I don’t like to see you cry! I really like that you painted your backgrounds three very different colors too. I bet you had so much fun in art class this year doing all your different projects. It was so fun to get to see your artwork since we are far away in Florida! We love and miss you!!

Hi Eva-You sure had fun in art class this year… I can’t believe you are graduating from kindergarten soon! Your artwork makes me think of ants having a summer picnic… I think they are really after the pickle in the bottom corner. That’s what Nana’s eyes see in your artwork… am I close? It has been fun to see all your projects this year-I can’t wait to see what you create in art class next school year! Love and miss you!

Wow Eva…what a great painting of Van Gogh inspired flowers!!! I love the design of the vase and the pattern of the tablecloth-very creative. You even made the background a two toned blue. You are quite an artist already and you’re only in kindergarten!! You are sure growing up Eva…we can’t wait to see you in Iowa this summer. Love and miss you!

Hi Eva-it looks like you’ve been having fun cutting colored construction paper for your untitled art project. Your design kind of looks like streets with houses to me. Keep having fun in art class! We love and miss you!

Hi Eva- What an interesting creature! I especially like the bright green tongue. Ceramics are fun to do-I still remember doing pinchpot ceramics back when I was in school. I think working with clay is so neat because it’s something that lasts forever. I bet you are loving art class! Love and miss you Eva!

Dear Eva, I love your picture of the pretty birds.

Very nice! Cardinals in the snow. Melody did the same picture when she was your age.
- Chris (Father) on January 5, 2022
Hi Eva-I loved your “cardinals sitting on a fence in the snow” picture! I think I remember when Melody did one of these in school too. I also like how the sun is out even though it is snowing in your painting. We get lots of sunshine in Florida but never any snow! You are such a little artist already! We love and miss you Eva!

Very nice Eva!!

Very neat Eva! It sort of looks like a giant centipede is about to climb a sideways ladder to get away from a crocodile who is sneaking around in a muddy bank of a river. :)
