It was great to see a still life water color. It seems to me your work over the years on artsonia shows that you prefer action (soccer ball, basketball players, adventurers, for example) to fruit sitting still on a surface. This makes good sense to me. Meanwhile, it was good to see that you were able to appreciate how the figures fit together in a whole.

Hey Ethan, I guess it was all that folding that really hurt your thumbs. But you did it so neatly and the design is eye-poppingly grand. I will order some product with this, for sure.

Hey Ethan, your "slab" pencil holder looks so big in the photo. I thought it was a sculpture representing a traveling bag/duffel or something. Nice that you said it was hard but fun. Putting the pieces together must have been the hardest part. Thanks for letting me see it!

Dear Ethan- I love the way Jordy's ears are in this picture,- one up and one down. Also, the way she is standing up on her hind legs..which she so often does. I am happy that you are such a good animal person...I wonder if you and Sebi could become veterinarians together. I don't understand why the bottom part is cut off and ended on the top. Was that part of the project or just a mistake by the photographer? XOXO Giga

Ethan, Your house is a good model for Casita in Encanto..a house which protects, understands and brings happiness. . a magic house. I like the way it has a lot of windows. They allow people to look out and others to look in. It teaches that secrets are not welcome and that open-ness is healthy. Thank you for sharing all your hard work in art this year. Ethan, It makes me so happy to see that you made a happy mask! I love the front tooth, just where yours got knocked out when you were swinging. If you look carefully at MY eyebrows, you will see that they look a lot like the ones you put on your mask...one is different from the other-especially after it met the pavement a few months ago. NICE JOB!

Ethan, your mug is very cool. I really like the stripes. They remind me of a sports jersey and also of the Argentinean flag, which is one of my favorite flags. Next time we have hot chocolate you can try to sip it from your mug!

Ethan- I was just asking your mom about Artsonia because I hadn't seen any new creations. I am so glad to get this new one. How interesting to paint a weaving! You can really see that the yellow strips go under and the orange strips go over the grey weft. That was a cool project. Nice job!

Ethan- I especially like the way you painted from your heart and used what were once the traditional colors, made from natural items in the Australian environment. The colors are dramatic on the black background. I am sure you know that this art traces its history to traditional sacred and ceremonial paintings in sand by the Aboiginees. Very cool that you have tied in to that tradition. I am excited to be part of Artsonia. Love, Giga
