Look at that! It’s a cheetah sitting inside facing us looking outside. Your cheetah includes a lot of wonderful details. Your drawing of the spider and web are wonderful, too. Is it windy outside? The tree top makes me feel like it’s windy. I always look forward to seeing your artwork. Keep it up.

Oh, my goodness! Your art helps me see ordinary objects in a new way. I really like seeing buildings with faces and personalities! You used a variety of colors. You gave each building a different expression. Now when I go to a city and see a sky scraper, I’m going to wonder what kind of personality it has. I had never thought of personifying city buildings. This is a fun piece.

I like this picture because it made me laugh out loud. When I studied the details in your piece, I noticed that Bob the Bear has a cell phone in his paw! That really surprised me. Always keep making art.

Using newspaper for the background was a great way to do this picture. It’s different. It shows off the crown with three points and the fox below. I hope you make more art works using these techniques.

What an interesting piece of work! My brain is blown away by the variety you used in your foreground, middle ground and background. Your art makes me happy. I hope it makes you happy, too.

I like how the pinkish-red lines repeatedly curve in the middle of this piece. I also like how your leaves, filled with different shapes, pop against the dark background. I’m very happy you make art!

How beautifully you made your background for this winter scene! Not only are the colors great, but so is the texture. I feel like a night close to Christmas looking at a snow person in the yard and Rudolph flying high in the sky. Way to go!

Oh, how I like the watercolor feeling of the background you used. The background really shows off your cut paper penguin and gingerbread person. I also like how you made it layered with the gingerbread person in the front, and the penguin standing a little behind. Then you added details to your creations with colors and pencil. What a great piece you have done!

Your city scene reminds me of New York and Chicago with their tall buildings. I like the yellow lights shining through the many windows you drew. The person walking looks happy to be in the city just like we were happy being in New York. I can’t wait to see your next cityscape.

I just love the variety of settings in this picture. You drew far into space, in the air near the Earth, and inside a shelter with cute animals. One of the most interesting aspects is how your rainbow is raining a rainbow of rain drops. I really enjoy your imagination.

This butterfly is truly original! Not only does its smile make we happy, but also the intersecting lines that seem to make a plaid do, too. I also like the stars and circles on its wings. It shows up well on the black background. It would be a wonderful surprise to see it in nature, wouldn’t it?

Your vase of flowers on the purple background using a variety of different materials is absolutely beautiful. I see cut construction paper, cut out photos, crayon and pencil. Did you use anything else? You even decorated the vase itself. I hope you like making artwork as much as, I like seeing it.

If I think back in time, this piece could be me because you drew medium length blonde hair, parted on the side, and a happy smile. Looks like I need to get a crown with jewels and a pair of beautiful dangling earrings. Hey, this actually looks more like it could be your mom or YOU! It’s fun for me to imagine…

I can’t wait to talk to you about this wonderful underwater scene. I feel like I’m with the jellyfish. I like the variety and combinations of chalk colors you chose. I feel flow and movement with the lines. I really enjoy your work.

What an amazing winter scene! The pale, rainbow washed background really sets off the brightly colored trees, and snow person in the foreground.

This is an awesome Christmas kitty! Using different patterns to make the stripes is incredibly interesting. Oh, and I really like seeing the kitty’s striped tail.

This piece shows how chalk makes beautiful pictures with its edges and points. Chalk also makes beautiful pictures coloring bigger areas by shading using the side of the chalk.
