The most famous artist to use purple would have probably been Monet, (check out his Lily, Haystack, Snow and Rouen Cathedral Series of paintings). Many other painters, albeit not as well renowned have used purple and violet themes. These include; Marc Chagall, Andre Derain, Rothko and Matisse to name a few. Oh, and now, also the well known Margo seems to be in the "purple period" of her painting life!

Of all the 400 hundred Margos, Margo #393 is the best triangle painter at Mills (in Kindergarten) with a black and brown dog that has a pool in palmetto with blond hair and who has the most handsome (and strong) grandfather in Akron Ohio!!!!!!
