I would love to see this painting in person. The shading on the buildings look like it may have been folded. The sky, too, has many squares of color. The colors are very pretty. I think it is paint, but it could be markers. It makes me think of New York City, where there is no space between buildings.

That is really Modern Art! I can tell it is a person's face, even though eyes are not level. It is so fun to see jumbles of color and shapes. It must have been fun for you to make.

I looked at the picture and thought, "That is a dragon eye." Then I looked at the title. It said origami, so is this a photograph of a folded paper, or is it a drawing? I do think it is fun.

That looks so real! Were you feeling your bones? Did you trace your hand? Isn't it amazing how many bones we have in our hands? The outline looks like a light shining behind it.

I think this is a llama looking right at me. You blended the brown color well. The white spot in the eyes makes it look so alive.

What a nice lava lamp. It glows. The colors are flowing. The shading on the base gives it depth and shows it is round. Nice job!

We just had a vacation in Arizona, which is on the border with Mexico. We saw many kinds of cactus. Saguaro is the real tall kind, with arms. Your picture of cactus and sunshine and desert makes me think of our trip.

That looks like the Northern Lights. We cannot see it when we are too close to a city. But I have seen it a few times way up north, in the country. Your nice polar bear can enjoy the pretty show.

Could this be a real elephant dressed in costume? Or is it an imaginary elephant with many colors and patterns? It is very beautiful. I would like to meet this elephant.

That is another picture I would like to frame for my wall! I love the colors, the scaly legs, the bright shell, the texture of the water. Very beautiful.

Monsters or fish, they have handy lights to see in the dark. Beautiful colors, and fun to see some sideview, where we only see one eye.

This makes me think of a kind of winter hat which covers your whole face, with only the eyes showing. Or it makes me think of soccer on a muddy days, where even your face gets dirty. I love the sparkle in your eyes and the big smile and the beautiful colors.

The colors make me think of poppies in Monet's painting.

What a beautiful aquarium of fish. Can I frame it for my wall?

That is such a nice city, with many tall buildings. Is that Superman flying to rescue someone? I like the pretty frame on this picture, too.

That person is moving fast downhill. Are they on skis? Are they in the Olympics? I hope you can try skiing someday.

I would love to put this bouquet on my dining table. It would be a pretty centerpiece. Such bright colors.

Hello Graham, I wonder which Frida Kahlo painting you were looking at when you painted this? Was it the one with the monkey on her shoulder, or the one with a parrot? You have done such a marvelous job imitating her style with your own creative portrait. I love it! Keep up the good work!

I like your sunflower/ The long, thin paper makes it seem extra tall. The purple background makes the flower really stand out. I am glad you like second grade and art class.
